Delbert Blankenship, 74 of North Judson, passed away Monday, June 1st, 2020. He was born May 12, 1946 in North Judson, Indiana son of Orville and Caroline (Wilcox) Blankenship.

In 1966 he married Nellie L Binion in Niles, Michigan. Delbert was a US Army Veteran and a Welder/Mechanic with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150. He was a member of the American Legion.

Surviving are his daughter, Misti Blankenship, and son James Blankenship (Gina), his granddaughter Rebecca Beal (Travis), and his sisters, Anne Maupin, Dorothy (Ronnie) Clemons, Bonnie Clemons, and Mary Wilson, all of North Judson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nellie and a brother James Blankenship (1963).

Delbert enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting deer, and being outdoors.

Services entrusted to O'Donnell Funeral Home, North Judson. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, North Judson.
