FUNERAL RITES HELD FOR MRS. KINGRY
Funeral services for Mrs. A.A. Kingry, 67, of Cottonwood, who died at a local hospital Saturday night following an illness of two weeks, were held today at 2:30 pm at the Cottonwood Baptist Church with the Rev. John Eden of Cottonwood, officiating. Burial was in the Cottonwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Kingry had been a resident of Cottonwood practically all her life, and was a member of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs. Lee Johnson of Dothan route two; five sons, AC Kingry of Cottonwood, EF Kingry of Marianna; AL Kingry of Marianna; JH Kingry of Marianna; GK Kingry of Stewart, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Arnold Day of Ashford, and Mrs. Bloss Bell of Malone, Fla.; two brothers, RO Johnson of Cottonwood and MP Johnson of Montgomery; a sister, Mrs. Charlie Hammack of Dothan; 20 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were AC Kingry, EF Kingry, AL Kingry, JH Kingry, GK Kingry, Arnold Day, and Bloss Bell.
Ward-Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
