Donna Lee (Lyman) Wright Webb entered Heaven, as she had so longed to do, on June 3, 2020, at the Tulsa Hospital, a victim of the Covid-19 virus. A native of Ramona and Collinsville, she had lived in Bartlesville for the last year and a half.

Donna was born in Vera, Oklahoma on August 13, 1933. She attended school in Vera, marrying her high school sweetheart on August 5, 1950, before graduating from Vera High School. The family lived in the Vera and Ramona area for most of their marriage.

A strong Christian and member of the First Baptist Church, Ramona, she visited the homebound in her community for many years. She was a member of the choir and knew more songs than anyone else in her family knew.

She completed classes to became a Licensed Practical Nurse after she had five children, working at the Collinsville Hospital for 25 years. She then transferred to Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville, welcoming babies in the Labor and Delivery area.

Mom, Granny, Grandma, Granny Donna – whatever she was called, she demonstrated her love for her big family in countless ways. Her grandchildren always loved to visit, exploring the fossils, driving the “mule," and begging for frozen treats from Grandpa’s milk truck. Christmas time was glorious chaos, with the den floor covered in wrapping paper. Everyone was welcomed, and felt her genuine love and concern for them.

She was preceded in death by J.L. (John Litsy) Wright who died in 1999 after 48 years of marriage; and Bill Webb of Collinsville, whom she married on February 13, 2014, at the age of 80, and who died in 2018. Also preceding her were her parents, Lewis and Minta Lyman; brothers, Elmo and Donald Dean Lyman; sisters, Betty Joiner and Phyllis Heaton; and sister-in-law, Katherine Parker.

Survivors include five children: David (Diane) Wright, John (Cheryl) Wright, Jane (Phil) Rhynerson, Mark (Cindy) Wright, and Scott Wright. Also surviving are her sisters, Peggy (Joe) Ross and Saundra Rogers; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Joan Wright, Don and Dorothy Wright, and Bob Parker.

Seventeen grandchildren enjoyed her love and attention: Dawn McKenna, Gil Wright, Karen Wright, and Kelly Dykstra; George Wright, Emily Wright, and Paul Wright; J.P. Rhynerson, Minta Bailey, and Mary Shilling; Shannon Watson, Shari Wood, Suzy Christian, Shelli Cox, and Staci Vermillion; and Caitlyn Pryce and Mitchell Wright. She was also blessed with 30 great – grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at the Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville on Friday, June 5, 2020, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at the Ramona First Baptist Church with her son, Rev. Mark Wright, officiating. Interment will be in the Ramona Cemetery.
