He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Annie Mae Fleming Roberts; one daughter, Tammy Elaine Roberts; three brothers, Glenn, David and Roger Roberts and two sisters, Carolyn McClure and Christine Sams.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 51 years, Judy Inman Roberts; one son, Bo (Treasa) Roberts of Enka; his daughter, Kristy (Brian Markland) Roberts of Leicester; his brother, Nathan (Christine) Roberts of Wayensville; three sisters, Anges (Lionel) Brooks, Jean(Handy) Allison and Sue (Dale) Keener all of Spring Creek; six grandchildren, Judith Elizabeth Roberts, Misty Dawn Roberts, Kamryn Dale Roberts, Stephanie Roberts, Michael Joseph Roberts and Tammy Marie Ingle; two great-grandchildren, Justus Natalie Sims and Irving Alexander Dale Avila, along with numerous extended family and friends.
Harry was a proud veteran of the United States Army, Airborne division. He was a farmer and enjoyed living from the land. Most of all he loved his family, getting to spend time and cooking Bar-B-Que with them. He was of the Baptist faith and listening to old country music- especially Johnny Cash.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Monday June 8, 2020 at Smoky Mountain Chapel with Pastor David Rice officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Burial to follow at Center Pigeon Baptist Church Cemetery.
