Betty graduated from Burnet High School and had several jobs before going to work at St. David’s Hospital in Austin. Then, she had a debilitating stroke that the doctors said she would never recover from- never to walk or talk again. But after seeing her five year old daughter during visits with her mother and sister Betty was determined to learn to walk and talk all over again so that she could raise her daughter.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service for Betty will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 3 at Clements-Wilcox Chapel with Reverend Bryon Miller officiating. Inurnment of Betty’s cremated remains will take place at a later time at the Miller Cemetery near Liberty Hill.
