Marjorie Boheen passed away on May 26, 2020, after a brief illness, while at the Elm Manor Nursing Home.
She was born in Canandaigua, New York and grew up in Baptist Hill, New York. She is the daughter of John and Ruth DeSmidt and she graduated from Bloomfield Schools. Marge was married to Frederick Boheen and they lived in both Canandaigua and Palmyra where she was a waitress and a homemaker. Later in life she worked for a short term at Denise Transport as a bus aide.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick; her sister, Dorothy Blair of Honeoye, New York; and her beloved cousin, Edith Deys of Palmyra, New York. She also was predeceased by her long term companion, Albert R, Habberfield.
She is survived by her extended family including, Terry (Cathy) Habberfield of Canandaigua, New York, Amie (Brian) Hermanson of Palmyra, New York, Kevin (Lauren) Habberfield of Farmington, New York, Bruce (Judy) Habberfield of Himrod, New York.
Marge enjoyed going garage sale shopping, knitting, sewing, country music and dining out. She spent several winter seasons in Florida and her time in New York gardening and enjoying her lilacs. She especially loved her toy poodles, Bridget and Tiger.
A private ceremony will be held in North Farmington Friends Cemetery on Saturday, May 30th.
