PROVO, Dec. 11, — David O. Waid died last night from general debility. He was born January 12, 1846, near Quebec, Canada. He fought in F Company, Sixth Minnesota regiment, as a volunteer in the Civil War, and came to Utah in December, 1890, since which time he had resided in Provo. He engaged in the watchmaking, jewelry and furniture business.

He is survived by his wife and four sons, D. Hulon, Clifford O., Lisle E. and Leslie A. Waid. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 11 o'clock from the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
