Max M. Moore, 83, of Frankfort, died on May 26, 2020 at his home. He was born on July 30, 1936 in Frankfort to the late Maurice F. and Mary M. (Snyder) Moore. He married Marilyn L. Petre on May 7, 1961 at the Jefferson United Methodist Church and she survives. Max was a 1954 graduate of Little Jeff High School. He was in the Army National Guard, serving from 1959-1965. He retired in 1990 after 36 years from Chrysler Corporation Kokomo Transmission.He was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church, Vesta Masonic Lodge #136 Lodge in Jefferson, Indiana State Beekeepers and Clinton County Antique Machinery Club. Max enjoyed beekeeping, gardening, woodworking, apple cider making and farming.

He is survived by his wife; two children; one brother; one sister; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Max was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Douglas S. Moore.

Public visitation will be from 12 noon to 1:30 PM on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1:30 PM on Thursday. Entombment will be in Green Lawn Mausoleum.
