Fannie Agnes Coleman, 99, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, August 29, 2008, at Skylyn Place.

Born October 17, 1908, in Laurens County, SC, the daughter of the late Thomas Wagner Coleman (1882–1948) and Lula Bryson Coleman (1898–1981).

Retired from Mary Black Memorial Hospital and was a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Nell Morris Pinson Coleman (1924–2015); niece, Paula Susan Coleman (1957–2019); great-nephew, Matt Gilliland; and by numerous cousins who loved her dearly.

The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by a sister, Helen Marjorie Coleman (1910–1995); and three brothers, Thomas Warner Coleman, Jr. (1914–2007), James Richard Coleman (1919-1993), and John Henry Coleman (1927-1977).

Graveside services at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Peter A. Waid.

The family received friends at the graveside following the service.
