Private family services for Mrs. Regina Blake Burns, age 67, will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA, with Bro. Donny Parish officiating, assisted by Bro. Adam Thomas. Friends are invited to attend the interment services at 2:45 PM in Springhill Cemetery, Springhill, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 25, 2020, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Burns was born on October 30, 1952 to Vance and Ruth Voncile Sparks Blake in Springhill, LA and passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 in Springhill, LA. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Springhill and was an owner/operator of Regina's Beauty Salon for many years. She also enjoyed attending her children's and grandchildren's sporting events always carrying her cowbell to help Chloe cheer on her team.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Rodney Burns of Springhill, LA; two daughters, Stacy (Jay) Sessions of Bossier City, LA; Chloe Burns of Springhill, LA; son, Blake (Crystal) Burns of Fort Smith, AR; mother, Ruth Voncile Blake of Springhill, LA; brother, Robert S. Blake; two grandsons, Brady Sessions, and Nate Sessions.
Mrs. Burns was preceded in death by her father, Vance Blake, and a brother, Barry Blake.
