Martha (Marty) Turner Parker, age 70, of Asheville, NC, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 23, 2020.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years Charles (Charlie) Thomas Parker and daughter, Molly Joan Parker, of Asheville, NC. She is also survived by her brothers, William (Bill) Francis Turner, II of Ft. Myers, FL, Paul Meadows Turner (Annette) of Shelby, NC and Joseph (Joe) Crawford Turner (Rhia) of Athens, AL.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Francis Turner and Joan Meadows Turner of Asheville.
Marty was born in Charleston, WV on April 22, 1950. She graduated from Enka High School, Enka, NC in 1968 and St. Genevieve of the Pines Secretarial College, Asheville, NC in 1969.
Special thanks to the many care providers who helped Marty during her illness, including but not limited to Advent Health Infusion Centers, Oncology Floor at Mission Hospital and The Lodge at Mills River, the Skyland Fire Department and all the many Prayer Warriors that supported Marty and her family during her extended illness.
