Ronald Jeffery "Jeff" Cope, age 60 of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020 in Sparta.Jeff was born July 10, 1959 in Sparta, Tennessee to Bobby and Joyce Bennett Cope. He was an employee of Tri-State Distribution in Sparta after a long career as a salesman for Anheuser Busch in Nashville. He was an avid fan of University of Tennessee athletics and a golfer. Jeff loved the water and excelled at water sports and served as a life guard in his younger years. He will most fondly be remembered for his kind spirit and good heart and the ability to light up any room he entered.
Jeff is preceded in death earlier this year by his sister Sherry Smith (#.205907207)
Survivors include his son Zac Cope of Nevada, Daughter: Sabrina Butturini of Tennessee, Granddaughter: Samantha Butturini,
Parents: Bobby and Joyce Cope of Tennessee. Brother: Mike (Christy) Cope of Tennessee, Nieces: Emilee (Jacob) Groce, Ciera Cope, Nephew: Shane (Amanda) Smith, Great-niece and nephews: Rylee, Maddox and Carsen. Services will be conducted on Saturday,
May 23, 2020 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Plainview Cemetery in the Cassville community.
Zac Cope, Shane Smith, Jacob Groce, Mike Corbally, Phil Hipsher and Les Barker will serve as pallbearers.
