Bruce William Pinkney, of Walkerton, passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, two weeks after celebrating his 90th birthday.
Dearly loved husband of Ruby (formerly Patterson, nee Grant). Loving father of Charles of Calgary, Donna Culliton (Richard) of Walkerton, Debra Seigmiller (Allen) of Hepworth and Neil (Jeanne) of Calgary. Stepfather to Mervin Patterson of Trenton, Barbara Garland of Mission, B.C., Grant Patterson of Whitby, Patricia Hunt of Barrie and Bruce Patterson of Trenton. Cherished grandfather of twelve, great-grandfather of twelve as well as many step grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law to Joyce of Goderich and Odette of Calgary and many nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his first wife Ruth of 52 years, brothers Donald (Jean), Lyle and George and his parents Earl and Gertrude (nee Blake) Pinkney.
Family & friends will be received at Cameron Funeral Home in Walkerton on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service celebrating Bruce's life will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 11 a.m at St. Paul's United Church in Walkerton. Rev. Herb Klaehn officiating.
Inurnment in Walkerton Cemetery.
