Peter G. Van Gorp died at his home seven miles northeast of Pella at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 1924, aged 52 years. His death was due to cancer of the stomach, which had afflicted him only a short time. He made a trip to Rochester, Minn., a few weeks ago for examination and there learned the seriousness of his affliction. He is survived by his wife and a family of children. Funeral services will be at the Third Reformed church Saturday afternoon. Internet at the First Reformed Cemetery, north of town.
