SUTTONS BAY – Sharon Louise Brandt, 78, of Suttons Bay, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Sharon was born Aug. 12, 1941 in Detroit the daughter of Louis and Catherine (Saccoia) Goldone. On May 9, 1964 in Harper Woods she married Harry Brandt, who survives.

Sharon was an elementary teacher for 30 years and enjoyed walking around the village of Suttons Bay, gardening, taking rides throughout the county, and enjoyed visits from family. She will continue to be loved by her family and friends who have known her to be selfless, charitable, and very faithful to her religion.

There is now a hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved Sharon. For the past four years, Sharon bravely battled non-hodgkin lymphoma and was thankful to all of the caretakers at The Cowell Family Cancer Center.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of fifty-six years, Harry; her three children, Amy (William) Prusaitis of Farmington Hills, MI, Jeff (Denise) Brandt of Novi, MI, Paul (Dana) Brandt 0f Frisco, Texas; and five grandchildren, Julia Brandt, Jack Brandt, Scott Brandt, Parker Brandt and Dylan Brandt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Catherine Goldone.

Private family services in Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi have been held.
