Ruby Eileen Glinsmann, daughter of Peter Frederich August and Laura (Obermiller) Glinsmann was born on July 29, 1928 at Ashton, NE and passed away Friday May 15 at daughter Robin's house surrounded by her family at the age of 91.

Ruby was baptized on September 2, 1928 and confirmed October 11, 1942 both at Immanual Lutheran Church, Ashton. After graduating from Ashton High School Ruby took a job teaching at Zion Lutheran School near Tobias. It was there that she met Dallas Niederklein. it was at a church gathering that He asked her if she thought he could be 'the one', and she said 'I think so', after that he enjoyed stopping by school to have lunch with her. and they were married on June 6, 1948 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ashton by Rev. Theodore Dragonmuller in a church with no electricity, a true candlelight ceremony. Their deep love for each other was obvious to anyone around them as she always lovingly referred to him as "dear."

God blessed them with six children: Gene, Roy, Kent, Mark, June and Robin. Ruby enjoyed baking and was known for her runzas, cinnamon rolls and pies which she spoiled her grand kids with when they visited. She also grew many african violets over the years and enjoyed canning and making pickles.

After Dallas passed away in 2016, Ruby moved in with Robin and Todd. There she enjoyed seeing her great grand kids and sharing her treats from her giant candy bowl with them. She enjoyed the many visitors and all the family gatherings there. Ruby appreciated all of her kids' help these last few months.
