Samuel Plyley, an aged and respected resident of Buckskin Township, answered the summons of the Grim Destroyer on Tuesday. An infection of the heart being the immediate cause of death. He was a soldier and served with distinction in the late Civil War, during which he incurred a disability for which he was granted a pension.
The deceased leaves one son who is married and resides at Buckland, Auglaize County. The interment took place at Waughs Cemetery this afternoon.
