Ingeborg Olsdatter was born on Mar. 12, 1797 at the Ullensager farm in Torpa, Nordre Land, Norway. Her parents are Ole Johansen and Inger Torkelsdatter. In 1818 she had a son with Gulbrand Gulbrandsen. On Nov. 16, 1821 she married Anders Christoffersen in Fluberg, Søndre Land, Norway. On July 8, 1857 Anders, Ingeborg and their youngest son Hans departed from the port of Drammen, Norway on the ship "Flora" for America. They arrived in Quebec, Canada on Sept. 6, 1857 and traveled on to Coon Valley. WI. They lived in Coon Valley with their son Hans until 1870 and then moved with Hans to the Pigeon Falls area. After Anders' death in 1875, she moved to her son Ole's home and live there until her death on Apr. 3, 1884.
