Amy is survived by her husband, Joel L. Madden and her two sons, Brayden (12) and Colton (9), of Mint Hill, NC; her father and mother, Anthony and Sue Terrenzio, of Mint Hill, NC; her brother Jim Terrenzio and wife Nixara, and their children Jan Carlos, Anthony, Derek and Julianna, of Derry, NH; and her brother Jeff and wife Regina, and their daughter Amelia, of Hemby Bridge, NC.

Amy was born on November 6, 1975 in Pittsburgh, PA to parents Anthony and Sue Terrenzio. She graduated from Ithaca College in 1997 with a degree in Communications. In 1997, she moved to Charlotte, NC and accepted a position at ESPN, where she worked for more than 20 years.

Amy was a great wife and a loving mother. She married Joel Madden in Schenectady, NY on September 22, 2001 and the couple had two sons, Brayden Patrick Madden and Colton James Madden.

Amy was a gifted artist and decorator who had passionate commitment to every detail. She loved her work at ESPN, but even more so, the people that she worked with there. She was a passionate fan of the NY Yankees and NY Giants, but her absolute favorite teams were the soccer and basketball teams that Brayden and Colton were on. She was their coach at home, and their #1 fan in the stands. She was brutally honest, but endlessly compassionate, and committed to helping those that she cared about.

A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for two o’clock on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at Blair Road United Methodist Church in the sanctuary, with a reception to follow in the Family Life Center. Reverend Edward Butler will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Amy's life.

The family would like to thank Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region for all of the loving care that they gave Amy and our family over the last several weeks.
