Marcy Hamilton, age 91 of Breckenridge, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 23rd at Morehart Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Andy Channer and Larry Holder officiating. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

Marcelyn “Marcy” Maude Wilson was born October 8, 1928 in Fort Worth, Texas to parents, Boone S. Wilson and Ina Olene Rutledge Wilson. Marcy married the love of her life, Bill Hamilton in 1995. She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing Liverpool rummy, and watching Hallmark movies. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting and always used the brightest and funniest colors whether or not they matched. Marcy had a green thumb and loved cooking but she was known to burn toast. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Hamilton; one daughter, Janie Carrol Williams; one sister, Jane Blackman; and one brother, Milton Sloss Wilson.

Mrs. Hamilton is survived by two daughters, Margaret Sue Womble and husband Robert L. Womble of Morse, Nicki Lea St. Clair of Bedford; three grandchildren, Anna Jane St. Clair, Robert C. Womble, John Tye Womble; and four great grandchildren, Case Womble, Catie Womble, Kitson Womble, and Kalla Womble.
