Anna married Newell Dean Fuhriman on September 1, 1947 and their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple in 1948. Anna spent every summer for 52 years with her husband and family as they worked together on their farm in Pocatello Valley, Idaho. She was always the source of encouragement and optimism to face the challenges of farming and of life. Delicious meals and well managed homes were her speciality. She appreciated and exemplified the values of honesty and hard work. Anna had a great respect for nature and the grandeur of the changing seasons. She had a special talent for capturing the beauty of flowers and landscapes in her water color and oil paintings. She gave many hours of services as a Relief Society teacher, Primary leader, and in the Family Record Extraction Program. She was an avid reader and was interested in many subjects. She was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Newell Dean Fuhriman, River Heights, UT; their children, Michael (Allene) Fuhriman, Elwood, UT; Scott Fuhriman, Pocatello Valley, ID; Leslie (Don) Flaherty, Smithfield, UT; daughter-in-law, Shelley Thompson Fuhriman, River Heights, UT; 13 grandchildren; brother, Carl (Ruth) Fonnesbeck, Bountiful, UT; sister, Frieda (Ben) Smith, Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her son, Neil Fuhriman.
