Brian Edward Reeves, 42, departed from his earthly life Monday, May 11th of 2020 after 2 and 1/2 years of battling colorectal cancer. Brian was surrounded and wrapped in loving arms by all of his immediate family members and pastor. Brian loves Jesus and his church family. Brian was a active member of Grace Point Church of Christ and loved his Pastor, Chase Almond. Brian was a true outdoorsman. He loved fishing with nieces, hunting with his father, attending church with his family, playing video games and watching his little bub race. He was a devoted family man and loved his two dogs, Bo and Champ. Brian worked almost 20 years at City Water and Light before becoming disabled.

Brian was preceded in death by Marley Brianna Reeves (daughter), Tom Looper (grandfather), and Troy Reeves (grandfather).

Brian is survived by mother Gwen Vaughn (Mark Vaughn) of Bono, father Ronnie Reeves (Tammy Reeves) of Jonesboro, brothers Tyler Vaughn of Bono, Britt Yates of Bono, sisters Micah Arnold (Jason Arnold) of Brookland, Amber Nolen (Brett Nolen) of Bono, Andrea Landry (Justin Landry) of Pocahontas, fur babies Champ and Bo, grandparents Jim Vaughn, Nora Vaughn, Melba Reeves, Eva Looper all of Jonesboro, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to especially thank Dr. Mazen Khalil, Tracy Holladay, the nurses and staff at St. Bernard’s cancer and infusion center, Josh Madden, hospice nurse Michelle, and all employees of CWL.

Funeral services will be held at Grace Point Church of Christ at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2020 with Chase Almond officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Bono.
