She died Friday, Jan. 16, 1998, in Graham General Hospital.
She was born Oct. 9, 1905, in Missouri. She moved to Graham from Levelland in 1995. She married M.W. "Pap" Austin on Nov. 20, 1921, in Wagoner, Okla. He died Sept. 22, 1988. A son, Otto Austin, died in 1990.
