Ruby Faye Chapman passed from this life Thursday, May 7, 2020 in Lone Wolf at age 65.
Ruby was born on August 8, 1954 in Altus, Oklahoma to R.T. and Dovie Imogene Moore. She was raised, grew up and went to school and lived all of her life in Lone Wolf.
Ruby married Marvin Ray Chapman on May 16, 1970 and to this union three children were born. She was a loving mother and a caring grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, gardening with her husband, going hunting, fishing, and attending the Baptist Church of Lone Wolf.
Ruby is survived by her husband Ray Chapman of the home, son Marvin Dwayne Chapman and wife Vivian of Vinita, Oklahoma, daughters Delores Ann Aston and husband David of Sayre, Oklahoma, Crystal Gayle Shrum and husband Ron of Big Cabin, Oklahoma. Her brothers John Moore and wife Dena of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Virgil Moore and wife Anita of Carnegie, Oklahoma, Mathen Moore and wife Kim of Gotebo, Oklahoma, 12 Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Ruby is also survived by a host of relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Pamela Stutzman, and baby daughter Jamaica, one grandson Dustin Pope, and one great-grand daughter Courtney Chapman.
Graveside services for Ruby are scheduled for Monday, May 11, 2020, 2:00 P.M. at Retrop Cemetery in Retrop, Oklahoma. Public viewing for Ruby will begin Sunday, May 10, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home, located at 1400 West Main, Lone Wolf, Oklahoma
