A man who's favorite past time was work, J.C. stayed busy. He helped his son, Chub, at the tire shop, and could always be counted on to help anyone that asked or he knew needed help. J.C. enjoyed working around his home and making different kinds of planters for wife Rose. He appreciated the outdoors, gardening, fishing, and planting just about anything he thought would grow. Somethings got ran over with the riding lawn mower and he would tell Rose it was getting to big anyway.
When it came to his family, J.C. loved them all, especially the kids. He was known as Grandpa to countless children and they could always put a smile on his face. He had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. J.C. loved to scare people, but he could come up with a joke to make you laugh as well. When J.C.'s health began to decline he didn't give up and continued to live life to the fullest. His legacy will live on not only in his family but the countless people he helped.
J.C. is survived by his wife of 32 years, Rose, children, Don Graham and wife Nancy, Chub Shrier and wife Stacie, and Candice Arnold and husband Nathan, eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren, brother, Homer Abram and wife Kay, brother-in-law, Roy Edwards and numerous nieces and nephews.
