Ruth M. Richardson, 99, of Linton, Indiana passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Glenburn Home in Linton, Indiana. She was born October 6, 1920 in Newark, Indiana to David and Loucettia (Bland) Arthur. She was married to the love of her life, Ermil Richardson on March 29, 1938.
Ruth was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, enjoyed reading her Bible and spending time with her grandchildren.
Family left to cherish Ruth include: her son, Larry E. (Kathy) Richardson of Linton; grandchildren, Maria (David) Hill of Jasonville, Kerry (Lana) Heath of Linton, Becky (Tim) Strain of Bicknell and seven great-grandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Ermil Richardson; daughter, Linda S. Kester; five brothers, Guy, Ivan, Wick, Lloyd and John Arthur; three sisters, Anna Vandeventer, Pearl Crowe and Hazel Relaford.
There will be a private service honoring the life of Ruth on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Meng Family Funeral Homes, Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Pastor John Winders officiating. She will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
