Sidney (Blue) Anderson, Jr. 77 of New Orleans, a retired Merchant Marine peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 25, at 3:25 pm at East Jefferson Heart of Hospice. Son of the late Sidney, Sr. and Nathalee Henry Anderson. Beloved Husband of the late Joyce Brenda Anderson. Loving Father of Andrea (Elmore) Devore, Sidney (Iona) Anderson, III, Delmarie Nathalie (Dwight) Jackson, and Craig (Charlene) Anderson. Grandfather of Generra (Cherokee) Woodfork, Davionne (Joshua) Brown, Davielle Anderson and Ambria Devore. Sidney is also survived by 4 great grandchildren as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, employees of the VA Medical Center, Children’s Hospital, Convention Center, pastors, officers and members of Franklin Ave Baptist Church, and Second Nazarine, B.C. kind acts and prayer are appreciated.
