Sister of Mrs. Blanche Forbes of Fresno, and Mrs. Bertha Whittaker of Phoenix. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephew.s
A native of Weatherford, Okla. Age 66. She was a long time resident of the Modesto area, coming to Humboldt County in 1950. She operated the River Ranch Motel in Loleta for 18 years, and for the past two years has resided in the East Bay area. A past worthy matron of the Ferndale Chapter No. 23 O.E.S., past President of the Fortuna Monday Club, and Past President of Eel River Valley B.P.N.
Services will be held at Pierce Mortuary Chapel Wednesday, April 1, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James M. Brown officiating. Lodge services under the auspices of Ferndale Chapter No. 21 O.E.S. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
