Katie Mae Hicks, 95, of Lubbock died Aug. 15, 2007 at her residence. Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Lubbock. Burial will be in the City of Lubbock Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. The Rev. J.J. Johnson will officiate.
Survivors include daughters, Claressia Nathan, Mattie McKinney; son, Arthur Kinney Sr.; two brothers, Andrews Hicks and Bennie Hicks; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Lee Duke; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 1-6 p.m. today at Griffin Mortuary.
