Lawrence was a member of Revival Tabernacle in Stanley. He once enjoyed playing his guitar, was a long-time fan of NASCAR (Richard Petty) and watching The Marty Stuart Show in his favorite chair.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife of over 28 years, Helen Marie Brady; his second wife of over 26 years, Mary Huffstickler Brady, and several brothers and sisters.
Lawrence is survived by his daughters Crystal Dowdle and husband Dale, Teresa “Sissy” Whetstine and husband Dan, Jean Robinson and husband Mike, and Kim Turner; son Eric Brady; brother Ray Brady and wife Patty; grandchildren Caden Dowdle, Jesse Dowdle, Sarah Turner, Angela Turner, Jackie Turner, Marcus Turner, Shawn Lattimore, Erica Sasse, Nicholas O’Daniel, Chad Ross, Jacob Bell, Joshua Barker, and Justin Barker.
