LAFAYETTE - With hearts dimmed by the loss of our living angel, the family of Mrs. Yvonne Morris announces her passing from this world on November 4, 2015 at 7:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 8, 2015 at a 3:00 p.m. Rite of Christian Burial in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Mrs. Yvonne Morris, age 82.
Her grandson, Rev. Travis Abadie, associate pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Eunice, will officiate at the services.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-two years, T.J. Morris of Lafayette; three sons, Lon Morris and his wife, Joyce, of Austin, TX, Luke Morris of Carencro and Kody Morris and his wife, Diane, of Enterprise, AL; one daughter, Sharon Hubacher and her husband, Carl, Jr., of Aberdeen; nine grandchildren, Dustin, Chance, Ryan, Samantha, Travis, Jake, Matt, Zane, Kyle and Lenze; and four great grandchildren, Dreyden, Dax, Sophia and Andrew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Owen Smith and the former Velma Janice Stephenson.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 1:00 p.m. Sunday until time of service at 3:00 p.m.
