Lloyd Glenn Stewart
Was born January 11, 1948 in Cape Girardeau, MO to Mary Ruth Phillips Stewart & Lloyd Stewart. He passed away on Saturday May 2, 2020 at Memphis, Tenn. at the age of 72 years.

Preceding him in death was his parents, Mary Ruth Phillips Stewart and Lloyd Stewart. Glenn graduated from Portageville High school in 1966. He attended Southeast Missouri (SEMO) in Cape and graduated in 1970 with a BS in history and social studies. From 1970-72 he served at East Prairie High School as teacher and head football and track coach. In 1972 to 1974 he was Jr High Football and basketball coach and then Varsity Football Coach at Malden High. In 1975 to 1982 Glenn served in many capacities at Oakhaven Baptist Academy including Teacher, head football coach, athletic director and Headmaster. During this time in 1975 he earned his master's degree in Secondary Educational Administration and Supervision. In 1982 Glen was the head football coach , weight lifting and assistant track coach until 1986 at Mcnairy Central High school In Selmer, TN . While at Mcnairy Central Glenn earned his second master's degree in 1984 from Memphis State University counseling and in 1986 completed all coursework working towards his Doctorate in Education. In 1986 to 1988 Glenn served as head football and track coach at Kirby high school in Memphis TN. In 1988 to 1990 Glen worked at SBEC High school in Southaven MS as Admissions Coordinator and head football coach. In 1994 to 2015 Glen was a teacher, counselor, administrator, head Jr High football coach and an assistant varsity football coach At Bartlett High School before retiring to his home in Bartlett with his wife Jan

He leaves to cherish her memories, his wife, Janis Hequembourg Stewart of Bartlett, TN, one son: Josh (Stephenie) Stewart of Olive Brach, MS. his brother: Kirk Allen (Laura) Stewart of Bartlett, TN. two grandchildren: Grace Scuddler, Emma Hefflinger and a host of many other relatives and friends.
