Bobbie was a graduate of Bristow High School and an Army veteran of the Korean War. Bobbie retired in 1987 from Kroger where he worked as a produce clerk for 37 years. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #2939 and enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, dancing, decorating his home and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his children, Mike Sutton (Kim), Harned, KY and Pam Morgan, Tell City; sisters, Mary Alice Heichelbech (Hike), Ferdinand and Barbara Ann Basham (J.C.), Tell City; grandchildren, April Bryan (Alex), Shawn Sutton (Jen), Keshia Smith (Michael) and Amanda Sutton (Josh King) and twelve great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was his mother and step father, Barbara (Howerton) and Everett Jones; father and step mother, Ernest and Della Sutton; brothers, David Jones and Eddie Sutton and a grandson, Josh Sutton.
Due to mandate concerning Covid-19 funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
