Tootsie graduated from Oil Township High School in 1953. Her work history included many years of service to General Electric of Tell City from where she retired. Tootsie enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her children, Mike Sutton (Kim) of Hardinsburg, KY, and Pam Morgan of Tell City; siblings, Bud York of Tell City and Betty Seifert (Marvin) of Rome; grandchildren, April Bryan, Shawn Sutton, Amanda Sutton, Keshia Smith; and twelve great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Tootsie was preceded in death by her siblings, William York, Wilma York, J.T. York, Alvin Curtis York and a grandson, Josh Sutton.
Services will be at 10:00am Thursday November 30, 2023 with burial immediately following in Greenwood Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 2:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday and 9:00am to service time on Thursday
