Burl E. Williams Jr., 70, of 109 Oriental Drive died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born Jan. 23, 1931, in Sesser to Burl E. Sr. and Lillian Swafford Williams, he married Mickey Lingenfelter on June 30, 1956, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Kim Marie (and Terry) Montgomery of Naples, Fla.; one son, Richard of Naples, Fla.; and one brother, Curtis of Benton.
A welder, he retired in 1983 as a supervisor from Caterpillar Inc. after 34 years.
He was a Korean War Army veteran.
Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
