"The Sabbath Recorder", Vol 25, No 47 p 187, Nov. 18, 1869.
In Brookfield, N. Y., Sept. 30th, 1869, at the house of her son Dea.. Paul B. Burch, Mrs. Damaris Burch, widow of Nathan Burch, in the 86th year of her age. Sister B. embraced Christ in early life, and was baptized into the fellowship of the First Brookfield Church, by Eld. Wm. B. Maxson. At the organization of the Third Brookfield Church, in 1823, she removed her membership to that church, and died in its fellowship. She was an excellent wife and mother, highly esteemed by her neighbors, and a devout, practical Christian. No doubt she has gone to enjoy the saint's everlasting rest, in the "building of God, eternal, in the heavens."
