Private graveside services for Arlene Bell will be held with Dr. Clark Palmer officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.
Mrs. Bell, 91 of Ball passed from this life, Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at her residence.
After High School, Mrs. Bell worked at the Sicily Island Post Office and had worked at Baptist Hospital and Guaranty Bank, Alexandria. She was Post Master at Ball, retiring after 28 years. She was a member of Pinehurst Baptist Church, Ball and loved working in her yard. She was a loving, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy A. Bell, Sr.; parents, David and Katie Dennis Guice; sisters, Doris Kirby and Kathryn Hassell; 2 great grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, C. Allen Bell, Jr. (Linda); David Bell, Sr.; daughter, Peggy Gordon and husband Robert; grandchildren, Hope Hyde (Dennis), Holly Coolman, Katie Bell (Sarah), David Bell, Jr., Jane Gordon and Robbie Gordon; seven great grandchildren; a host of other family member and friends.
