He was married on May 17, 1887 at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, to Lady Cicely Alice Gore, second daughter of Arthur Gore, 5th Earl of Arran, and his first wife, the Hon. Edith Elizabeth Henrietta Jocelyn.
