A resident of California for most of his life, James E. Easton died late yesterday at his Colton residence, 241 West G street. His residence in California numbered 44 years. He was born in Illinois. Mrs. Easton, the widow, survives, as do five sons and daughters. They are Glenn R. Easton, Grace Irene Horton and Mabel E.
