In 1940 he moved to Indianapolis, IN and three years later to Richland, WA where he worked as a security guard at the Hanford Nuclear Project until he retired in 1975. Survivors: Dolora S. STAMPER, daughter, of Spokane, WA; Dorothy MCGHAN, daughter, of Richland, WA; Karl STAMPER, brother, of Knoxville, TN; Mayme Miracle, sister, of Mitchell, IN; Mildred MCHENRY, sister, of Stone Mountain, GA; He is also survived by 1 grandson, 5 granddaughters, and 4 great grandchildren.
