She was born May 13, 1905, to James Martin and Victoria Jane (Burns) Cox in Pittsburg.
She married William Thomas Bracken on June 13, 1924, in Girard. He died April 13, 1979.
She was a homemaker. She loved her family and enjoyed being with them. She taught piano lessons, loved music and crafts. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Hugoton.
Survivors include two daughters, Gladys Ellis and husband, Lauren, Elkhart, Georgia Herron and husband, Manford, Manter; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Elsie Cox of Oregon; and many nephews, nieces and friends.
* Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Paul's Funeral Home Chapel of Hugoton with Minister Tommy Burnett presiding.
Burial will be at Johnson Cemetery in Johnson.
