HUGOTON - William Thomas Bracken, 78, died Sunday at Minneola Hospital. Born March 12, 1901 near Rogersville, Mo., he married Lillian Cox June 13, 1924 at Girard.
He was a retired farmer and lived here since 1973, coming from Manter. Survivors: widow, of the home; daughters: Mrs. Gladys Ellis, Elkhart. Mrs. Dorothy Hamilton, Goodwell, Okla.; Mrs. Georgia Herron, Manter; 14 grandchildren; ten greatgrandchildren.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Nazarene Church, Hugoton; the Rev. Tom Tremble. Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson Cemetery. Friends may call until service time Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Hugoton.
