Rebecca had many passions in her life. She was an amazing artist and a talented singer that participated in the In Jubilo Woman’s Choir in Cedar City. Rebecca was also involved with the Cedar Valley Community Theatre for many years, doing hair and makeup design. That is where she earned her nickname “Rebel” by everyone who loved her. She worked with the Kakapo Rescue Operation in New Zealand to save the parrot from extinction. She found joy in her last years painting portraits for people in her community who had lost loved ones to help keep their memories alive. Rebecca had an everlasting love for Friesian Horses and West Highland White Terrier dogs “Westies”.
She is survived by her brothers Wade, Greg, and Lynn Dennett. Also by her cat Moggie.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents Stewart and Beth Dennett, her sister Denise Gonzales, her very special friend Dee Rich, her beloved dog Silke and others, and by her much loved Friesian Horses: Sipke, Ids, Llonka and Zender.
She has been buried beneath the mountains she grew up with in Springdale Utah Cemetery, near Zion National Park.
A memorial will take place at a later date. Online condolences can be sent at www.sumortuary.com.
She will be greatly missed by all those who she has touched. She is now at peace.
