Passed away Sunday at Whitlock Place in Crawfordsville.

Daughter of Donald and R. Janice Stewart Massing.
Married Donald L. Parker October 30, 1949. He preceded her in death September 9, 2015.
Survivors include daughters Theda Parker, Donica (Ray) Miller and Teresa (Christian) Saenger; grandchildren Lesley (Wil) Salmonson, Emma (Kevin) McCartle, and Kathleen (Andy) Jahn; great-grandchildren Brandon Salmonson, Matthew and Caleb McCartle, and Amber, Brooke, and Courtney Jahn; brothers John (Monika) and Art Massing; sisters Kathy Smith, Fran Massing, and Jacqueline Parker; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, son Donald A. Parker and sister Ann Peek.

1949 graduate of Dover High School.

She worked at J.C. Penney's, Dr. Varay's office, Holiday Inn, and retired from Alcoa in Crawfordsville.

Phyllis loved her Lord and Savior and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

She enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading, and talking to people.

Cremation was chosen with a later lookburial of cremains at Oak Hill North Cemetery at a later date.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, private family service only on Saturday, April 25 at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care with Pastor Steve Whicker officiating. The service will be live-streamed and recorded.
