Rosa LaClear, 93, of Gladwin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at her home. She was born on August 14, 1926, the daughter of Phillip & Dora Chubb in Ithaca. She was united in marriage to Hessel LaClear Sr. who preceded her in death in 1973. She was a homemaker and his lived in Gladwin for the past 25 years, previously residing in East Lansing. Her hobbies included her love for arts & crafts. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Harvey LaClear of Gladwin, Dora LaClear of Chandler, Arizona & Hessel LaClear of Gladwin; grandchildren: Travis & Jamie McColgan; great grandchild: Gavin; sister: Viola Long of California. She is preceded in death by her husband: Hessel Sr.; son: James LaClear; several brothers & sisters. Funeral Services will be conducted by Elder Brad Lower on Thursday, December 5, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. She will be laid to rest at Rose Cemetery, Bath Township. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made according to the family. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan.
