Johnnie Ruth Butler Davis, age 93, a McMinnville, TN resident and Pulaski, TN native was born May 16, 1926 and passed away April 19, 2020 at her residence following a brief illness.
She was a homemaker, a member of Central Church of Christ, and the daughter of the late William Carlos and Georgia Eva White Butler, Sr.
She was married February 3, 1952 to William Morris "Bill" Davis who preceded her in death on June 18, 2003. She was also preceded in death by sister, Nancy Elaine Thomas; brothers, Thomas Hunt Butler and William Carlos Butler, Jr.; brother-in -law, Bob Thomas; and sister- in-law, Shirley Butler.
Mrs. Davis is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Greg Rush of McMinnville; two grandchildren, William Davis Rush of Santa Cruz, CA, Melanie Grace Rush of Melbourne, Australia; sister-in-law, Madline Butler of Nashville, TN; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive.
A private graveside service and interment will be held for family only. No visitation will be held at High's.
