Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army as a combat medic during the conflicts of WWII and Normandy. After returning home from the military, Bill worked the oil fields. In 1943 he married Lucy Krawietz. Together they started their family in Dale , Texas. They were blessed with three sons and one daughter. They were married 72 years at the time of her passing in 2015.
Bill is survived by his children, Bernard Meuth (Gwen), Linda Peschke (Gail), Carl Meuth (Patsy), Joe Meuth (Bobbie); 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family had a private celebration of Bill's life and he was laid to rest next to Lucy at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rockne, Tx.
