She was the daughter of Leonard and Marie (Post) Koesters. On Nov 27, 1971, she married David Rammel, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters: Jennifer (Scott) Dippold, Coldwater, Stacy (Jose) Faller, Ft. Recovery, and Kari (Todd) Vehorn, Wendelin; a son, Chris (Shayla) Rammel, Farmersville; six brothers: Jim (Pat), Springboro, Mike (Jane) London, OH, Bill (Kathy), Celina, and Nick (Darlene), Steve (Joyce) and Frank (Diana) Koesters, all St. Henry; six sisters: Jean (Elmer) Mueller, Yorkshire, Charlene (Lou) Grieshop, Judy (Jack) Gaerke and Kathy (Roger) Broerman, all Ft. Recovery, Mary (Matt) Cahill, St. Henry, and Joan (Gerald 'Hap') Brunswick, Anna; mother-in-law, Delma Rammel, St. Henry; nine in-laws: Larry (Ginny) Rammel, Greenville, Janice (Herb) Grieshop, Celina, Joe Dues, Sr., Portland, Marge (Fred) Dues and Tom (Sandy) Rammel, both Coldwater, Jane (Paul) Kaverman, Geneva, IN, Rick (Phyllis) and Steve Rammel, both Coldwater, and Randy (Angie) Rammel, Ft. Recovery; and ten grandchildren.
Deceased are stepfather, Paul Ranly; father-in-law, Fred Rammel; and a sister-in-law, Sharon Dues.
Retired as a cook for Ft. Recovery Schools, she also volunteered at The Gardens at St. Henry. She was a lifetime member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Wendelin. She sang in the church choir for more than 50 years, and was also a lector and communion distributor. She was also a member of the Ladies Sodality of the church.
She loved to read and follow her grandchildren's sporting events and activities.
Due to COVID-19 a private Mass will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Wendelin, with Rev. William O'Donnell officiating. The mass will be streamed live on Connor Rammel's Facebook page. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Cemetery.
