Britt passed from this life in Wagoner, Oklahoma on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the age of 51. He was born on April 2, 1968 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Grover Harrison Wade and Barbara D. (Rathjens) Wade.

Britt graduated from Coweta High School in 1987 and went to Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS on a football scholarship, transferring at the end of the season to Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK where he played football and ran track. As a trackster, Britt set NAIA records in the open 400 meter, 800 meter, and 400 meter hurdles. His dream was to become a professional soccer player. After college he worked as a Journeyman Plumber for 30 years. He loved to fish and play golf. Britt also played the villain in the longest-running play in America, THE DRUNKARD, on riverside Drive in Tulsa. In addition, he acted at the Broken Arrow Play House.

He was precedenephewsath by his father, Grover Harrison Wade. Britt is survived by his mother Barbara Wade; one son, SScWade of Tulsa, Oklahoma, two daughters, Sydney Blair Martin of Springfield, Missouri and Sophia Louise Wade of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Gary Michael Wade and wife Kerri of Coweta, Oklahoma, Robert Russell Wade of Park Hill, Oklahoma, two sisters, Jo Dell Duncan of Wagoner, Oklahoma and Lauren Brooke Wade of Norman, Oklahoma; one aunt, Patricia Nicholson, loving nephews.
