Julia was the daughter of Michael and Mary Antal Serva from Iglo, Slovakia. She immigrated about 1895 and was naturalized in 1901. She married John Beller about 1876, and they had 9 children with 8 surviving including: Maria, John Jr., Joseph Stephen (1892), August F. (1894), Rose (1895), and Jennie 1905). Julia died from cancer of the gall bladder at the age of 80 years 8 months and 2 days.
